NEW YORK, NY, November 14, 2011 – Rebecca Schwietz, Healthfirst Vice President of Clinical Performance, was named one of Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Clinical Informaticists today. Selected from a pool of hundreds of nominees, Rebecca was chosen as a leader in her field for her ability to successfully implement data-driven improvement strategies.
Rebecca joined Healthfirst in 2004, receiving numerous promotions since then including Chief of Staff, Vice President of Performance Improvement and Vice President of Financial Analysis. In her current role as Vice President of Clinical Performance Management, Rebecca is responsible for managing the overall quality of care provided by Healthfirst. She supervises the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Advantage star-rating system which provides revenue bonuses based on quality of care and patient satisfaction. Rebecca also created a quality report for network hospitals that shows quarterly performance on selected quality measures.
