What is Medicaid Managed Care?

Medicaid Managed Care is a New York State sponsored health insurance program for adults and children who have little or no income or who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI). The Medicaid Managed Care program offered by Healthfirst helps manage all of you and your family's health care needs by offering the following services:

• Checkups
• Emergency care
• Hospital stays
• Medicines
• And other health services

How much does Medicaid cost?
There are NO monthly premiums for Medicaid Managed Care.  Some services may require a copayment.
