What is Medicaid Managed Care?

Medicaid is a New York State sponsored health insurance program.  The Medicaid Managed Care program offered by Healthfirst helps you and your family manage all of your Medicaid coverage for services like:

• Checkups
• Emergency care
• Hospital visits
• Medicines
• And other health services

How much does Medicaid cost?
Healthfirst Medicaid health coverage is free for New Yorkers who have low income, or get Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
