Healthfirst Sponsors 2013 Univision Radio Familia Y Hogar Expo in Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month

Special Fitness Presentation by Celebrity Fitness Trainer, Ary Nunez

NEW YORK, NY, September 17, 2013 – Healthfirst celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15), sponsoring the 2013 Univision Radio Familia y Hogar Expo (Family and Home Expo) in New York City from September 21-22 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan. The popular expo features exhibitors, seminars, businesses, celebrities and a host of activities that will educate and entertain the public on Hispanic culture.

Celebrity fitness trainer, Ary Nunez, will appear on the Familia y Hogar Expo main stage to address the audience about the importance of physical activity and offer workout technique tips. On both days of the expo, Ary will appear onstage at 1:00pm and 3:00pm, followed by a meet-and-greet session at the Healthfirst booth.

The Healthfirst booth will also offer free massages, face painting for children, and important information on health care reform and New York State of Health – the state’s Health Benefit Exchange offering new insurance options that become available on October 1, 2013.

“National Hispanic Heritage Month is an important traditional celebration of the over 200,000 Hispanic members we currently serve in the metropolitan New York City area,” said George Hulse, Healthfirst Vice President of External Affairs. “We look forward to participating in the Expo for a third year to provide health education to attendees and promote healthy living.”
