HEALTHFIRST SPONSORS 2012 JUNTA HISPANA EXPO
QUEENS, NY, July 13, 2012 – Healthfirst is sponsoring the 2012 Junta Hispana Expo on Sunday, July 15th at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. Junta Hispana is a day-long Hispanic Heritage celebration showcasing the culture and traditions of the world’s 20 Spanish-speaking countries including Spain, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Chile.
From 11:00am – 6:00pm, expo attendees will enjoy cultural performances with music, dancing, games, raffles and a special children’s art center for kids to paint traditional carnival masks. The Healthfirst booth in Section B will feature important health education material on healthy living practices for disease prevention and treatment. Free giveaways will also be available and kids will be treated to face painting and a special magic show by Cido the Clown.
