Healthfirst Celebrates Grand Opening of Hempstead Community Office

Hempstead, NY, February 23, 2012 – Healthfirst, a not-for-profit managed care organization offering low or no-cost health insurance to eligible individuals and families living in the New York metropolitan area and New Jersey, celebrates the grand opening of its new community office in Hempstead, NY. A special ribbon-cutting ceremony inaugurates the location at 50 Clinton Street, 1st Floor, Hempstead, NY 11550 on Tuesday, February 28th at 2:00 pm.
This is the fifth Healthfirst community office to open in the New York City area, with other locations in the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens. The Hempstead office shares the building with other governmental and nonprofit agencies including Village of Hempstead Community Development Agency, HempsteadWorks and New York State Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped, among others.
