Healthfirst and St. John’s University Athletics Program Join Forces To Sponsor The St. John’s Health and Wellness Expo

Spreading the Message of Healthy Living to Queens Residents

NEW YORK, NY, February 11, 2014 – Healthfirst and the St. John’s University Athletics Program are partnering to host the St. John’s Health and Wellness Expo, presented by Healthfirst, a free event open to the public on Saturday, April 26 from 11:00am – 4:00pm on the St. John’s University Queens campus. All community residents and college students are invited to attend the event featuring interactive educational activities that encourage leading a healthier lifestyle. Free health screenings will be available and current players from the St. John’s Red Storm Men’s Basketball Team will make a special appearance.

Leading up to the EXPO, Healthfirst will host “Healthfirst Night” at Madison Square Garden (4 Pennsylvania Plaza, New York, NY 10001) on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 9:00pm – 11:00pm for the St. John’s University’s Red Storm Men’s Basketball Team vs. the Butler University Bulldogs. Healthfirst will be recognized on-court with a commemorative game ball and will also provide giveaways to fans. The game will be nationally televised on the FoxSports 1 network.
