Healthfirst University (HFU) is committed to providing all employees with timely, relevant learning and development opportunities that align with departmental and organizational goals. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of the 20+ instructor-led HFU course offerings throughout the year, in addition to 300 self-directed online courses available 24/7. 

Leadership Development Program - The Leadership Investment
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) strives to develop the critical leadership skills needed to assure continued success at Healthfirst, providing employees with career development opportunities

Healthfirst Career Paths - Continued Professional Growth
Healthfirst acknowledges the value of career paths as opportunities for continued professional growth. For each Healthfirst
position, job-specific competencies are identified, together with the skill requirements for each role and the necessary skills
to progress from the current position into another role. With the support of direct supervisors, employees can manage their
development throughout their careers by building upon these specific competencies, which are promoted in instructor-led
and online training sessions.

Healthfirst Language Program—Promoting Language Proficiency 

Healthfirst offers its employees a one-year online language learning experience to assist in job-related English or Spanish
language skill-building to improve job performance. Participants commit to spending at least two hours a week of their own
time to online skill-building activities. Skill-building activities guide the learners through application of vocabulary, grammar,
and oral/written communication skills in the context of everyday and professional situations.
