Child Health Plus
Higher income families may now qualify
Did you know that New York State recently changed the income eligibility guidelines for Child Health Plus? With over 400,000 children now eligible, a family of four making $80,000 a year may now qualify. All unisured kids and teens under 19 now qualify and no family makes too much to be covered.
Children may be eligible
regardless of their immigration
status if they:
- Are under the age of 19
- Have little or no health insurance
- Not eligible or enrolled in Medicaid
- Reside in the following Healthfirst service areas:
Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Richmond/Staten Island, Nassau and Suffolk Counties
Complete medical care for
infants and children including:
- Well-baby care
- Immunizations
- Routine well-child visits

Click here to send us your information so a Healthfirst Representative can assist you in enrolling in the plan. If your child is not eligible for Child Health Plus he/she may be eligible for Medicaid Managed Care Plan. |
