Announcing St. John’s Health And Wellness Expo, Presented By Healthfirst

Free Event for Community Residents to Learn About Healthy Living

NEW YORK, NY, April 8, 2014 – Queens residents and others are invited to attend St. John’s Health and Wellness Expo, presented by Healthfirst, a free public event on Saturday, April 26 from 11:00am – 4:00pm. The event will take place at the St. John’s University Queens campus (8000 Utopia Parkway) on the grounds next to the soccer field, and will be held rain or shine.

This will be a day of fun activities including fitness activities, cooking demonstrations, free health screenings, and a youth basketball clinic hosted by the St. John’s. The fitness clinic will be held with fitness trainer, Leo Wright, of Leo Wright Fitness. Cooking demonstrations will be presented by celebrity Chef Jeffrey K. Vaden, formerly of The Food Network, and Lisa Suriano, founder and CEO of Veggiecation, who will hold a special cooking demonstration for kids.
