2013 Increased Benefits Plan (HMO) - Plan Summary
The Healthfirst Increased Benefits Plan (HMO) is designed for Medicare beneficiaries who can get some level of Low Income Subsidy (LIS) for prescription drug coverage (Medicare Part D), and possibly some level of assistance in the form of Medicare Savings Programs (MSP) for medical benefits. Members of this plan should qualify for “Extra Help” to cover the cost of the monthly premium, while also receiving a richer benefit package.
Don’t lose your health insurance! Make sure you know what you need to do to stay insured.
For some Healthfirst plans, you will need to make a monthly payment (or “premium”) to stay insured. It’s important to make all payments on time. You can make payments online, by phone, or at any Healthfirst office in your neighborhood.
I still have questions. I’m not sure if I can get the Increased Benefits Plan.
